Serene Botanical

This painting captures a cluster of garden roses through vigorous, expressive brushwork and a radiant interplay of pink, red, blue, and cream. The blossoms seem to open directly within the movement of paint, emerging from a lively field of broken color rather than a fixed, descriptive setting. Thick strokes and shifting contrasts give the composition freshness and immediacy, while the loose floral forms preserve a sense of spontaneity. Rather than offering a detailed botanical image, the work conveys the sensation of roses in bloom—abundant, luminous, and full of restless summer energy.
