Layered blue marks and pale vertical traces surround areas of gold on a densely worked surface. The composition shifts between broad colour passages and small textured details. Maritta Neronin combines texture paste, acrylic and gold leaf on canvas to build an abstract image with a strong vertical rhythm and varied reflections across its surface.
