Rounded red forms emerge through a textured field of pink, lavender and pale yellow. A warmer horizontal passage divides the composition, with darker marks and reflections gathering below it. Aksana Selivonets uses thick oil paint and varied strokes to build an expressive image in which berry-like shapes appear within a largely abstract setting.
