Broad lotus leaves spread across a pond below palm trees and a temple. Greens and pale warm tones bring the vegetation and architecture into a closely connected scene. Marina Fisher’s oil impasto painting uses a textured surface to describe the foliage, with the pond creating an open foreground beneath the layered trees and buildings.
