Purple and pink pansies cluster among dark green leaves in a closely cropped floral composition. The varied faces of the flowers create a repeating pattern of soft colour and dark centres. Inna Zolkina works in oil on canvas, using visible strokes and layered tones to describe the blooms and the foliage around them.
