Broad ribbons of pink, blue, green and yellow spread across this small horizontal oil painting. Simplified landscape-like forms overlap and curve, with a small warm oval near the upper edge punctuating the composition. Anna Rubina gives the summer landscape a distinctly abstract treatment, using clear colour relationships to suggest space without relying on detailed description.
