Snow-covered roofs and towers spread across a broad view of Tallinn’s old town. Warm ochres and pinks sit beside cool blues, turning the winter city into a varied pattern of architectural shapes. Yael Natali Sonkin’s oil pastel drawing uses layered marks to describe the buildings, with a bright sky opening above the clustered rooftops.
